This piece is composed using sound material solely from recordings of the songs of a single mockingbird at the Georgia Tech campus late in a Spring night. The piece explores the wide variety of micro-tonal, melodic and rhythmic content in the mockingbird songs, and utilizes it to weave itself a blanket of a sad story.

Many thanks to Akito van Troyer for his aid with recording the bird songs, and to Dr. Jason Freeman for his support.
